while i dont know for sure, i think yes we may have an option of coming back
i think the purpose of rebirth is just that, a new start, and that many times one doesnt remember, unless they have a special reason to, or if something traumatic happens to them in this life
but i also think that often children are born being in touch with more then this life, but over time and without any type of recognition by those around them, it fades, when i was small, i had like a movie in my mind, of a past time, most of it was just daily life things, with some major events, later as an adult, i realized they didnt make movies like that back then, plus i hadnt gone to any "grown up" movies as a kid,, and the emotions i associated with various things in it were a grown ups emotions, so now i think of them as memories, though alot of it has faded.
when my daughter was 4, and i had never spoken to her about my beliefs, a neighbor passed on (i dont use the word death), my daughter said, "i think when you pass on, you go someplace and are given candy, you get better, then you can come back if you want to",,,,,, like they said , out of the mouths of babes, she summed up my beliefs in one sentence!

What's the point of being reborn? You can't remember anything from your past life, so there's absolutely no hope in improving upon any past mistakes that you've made in those past lives.

no of couse not they say when u die someone else is born my aunt died and my step aunts baybe was born after the death of my auunt

I don't know, I don't think we just "go" but i don't think we come back as a bird, snail etc.
