Well death can be a good or bad thing. It can be a good thing because after you've died, you don't have to worry about anything: job, family, money, sicknesses etc. Some people think that life's gift is death. Maybe you'll be happier after all those troubles of life is gone. Death can also be a bad thing because you'll miss everything that you owned in your life, especially the love ones around you. Maybe you regret that you didn't do what you want in life...and that can be painful.
Personally, I am afraid of death because I'll miss people. But death is just something that happens to everyone naturally...we just got to face it.

Death is the final experience. There is nothing to be afraid of after that. That's the way I look at it now. A violent death may make me a little nervous, but if I'm warm in bed with family around me when I'm old, I will likely enjoy the experience.

I think everyone is afraid of the unknown. Nobody can tell you what its like because everybody here is alive. I think if we knew more about what it felt like and everything, we'd be less afraid. Other than that, people are afraid of what happens AFTER they die. Where will they go? Will people here even care or foget about them? I believe as long as you trust in Jesus, there's nothing to fear in death- its a good thing because you'll get to go home (Heaven)with Him. Personally, I'm not afraid. I'd just feel bad for who I'm leaving behind. They'd probably be sad.

Not as much as I used to be. I think the older you get the more accepting you are of the fact that death is inevitable, and unpredictable in most cases. I just live life one day at a time, count my blessing every day and make the most of the time I have been given.
In fact, what scares me most about death is the fact that I could lose one of my children, they could die before me. That is not natural, not very just, altho I am sure the Lord has his reasons.

When I think of death, I am worrisome and fearful and sad. But not for myself. I have 2 young children and I worry about what would happen to them if I was no longer here for them. I am all they have.
