to have a serious commited relationship with a divorced woman? What if you family didn't want you to marry a divorced woman?

I ask this questions as Indian families already give the girl a hard time and if she is divorced, they look at her as damaged goods - as if divorce wasn't traumatic enough

I don't care if my family does not want me to marry a divorced woman. They are not the one who will be marrying her or sleeping with her. So who cares.

I would never mind marrying a divorced woman. what matters the most is integrity in the person and whats inside that counts.

I think there are plenty of guys who would want to marry a divorced woman. That would be pretty shallow in not wanting to marry a woman who has been married before. The same goes for a divorced man. Not wanting to date a divorced person could mean missing out on a great opportunity.

Free Spirit...of course I would! My family does not pay my bills or tell me who to fall in love with. I'm a widower(she died) and I have two young boys, would your family hold this against me, and these two wonderful children who are our future to the world.....Women, divorced or not are wonderful creatures, and any man that says he would not marry a divorced woman is a shallow man.."end of story"

I am no longer single, but I did marry a divorced mother. I did not mind at all, in fact she is amazing, wonderful and we rock as a couple.
