will amazon deliver the new harry potter book on the 21st july when pre-ordered or later?

Yes, you will recieve the Harry Potter Book from Amazon on the 21st but only if you pre-ordered it BEFORE July 17th. If you ordered it after July 17th, you most likely will recieve it later....
Other places like for example Borders, will give you a ristband in the morning of Friday July 20th to save your place in line and save your reservation of your book (only if you preordered). Then at Midnight of Friday you can go and pick up your book until the Stores close on July 21st at Night.

Last year I got mine at like 9:00 in the morning on the 21st. But i had also gone to the Harry Potter Party at barnes and Noble so I ended up with two copies but yes amazon deliveries the 21st.

Not only will it arrive on the 21st, if ordered before July 17th, but Amazon.com will refund the purchase price of the book if it is not delivered before 11:59pm on the 21st. If you ordered it, you should've received this in an email.

If you pre-ordered the book, the book won't come to you the day that it is released. Amazon doesn't ship pre-ordered products out until the day that it is released.
So however long it takes Amazon to deliver, which is about 3-5 business days, then that is when you are going to receive it...about 3-5 days AFTER the book's release date.

If the book was not pre-ordered by noon on July 17th, then it will not arrive on the 21st. That was when they stopped taking pre-orders for the book.

The book will be shipped to you on July 21st, you should receive it within 2-5 business days depending on the shipping you paid for.

I just called Amazon.It is guarenteed to be at my house July 21st. I preordered in Feburary 2nd.

We always received the books on the day it is released.
Not exactly sure how they get away with shipping it before the release date but they have shown up at my door on the day of release.
