I need write a poem about chlorine?

I have project for my school and one part require me write poem about chlorine. The problem is that I am not good at writing a poem and my english is very average. So please any help would great

I know you all have used this,
Though its name you may have missed.
A substance in your swimming pool,
That could make you choke and drool.
As a liquid it can burn your skin,
And even kill you if you breathe it in.
It's used in cleaning products and bleach,
And in your home it may be within reach.
It's even used in the food you eat
And maybe on your cushioned seat.
No it's not popular like a magazine
It is simply the element Chlorine.

Chlorine rhymes with clean and green (chlorine is used in bleaches and cleansers and chlorine gas is green)
