We could easily be in first right now in our division if it wasn't for our garbage bullpen blowing games earlier in the season. Everytime there is a pitching change I want to throw up and give up hope. I don't know how many things I have broken with Dempster the Hampster on the mound. If we are going to make a run we need Gagne. He is looking like his old self again. I am watching right now and waiting for the Cubs bullpen to blow a 9 run lead. They make me sick. Yesterday the bullpen made me blow chunks.

Ugh, it is so frustrating to watch that team struggle like that out of the pen. Seems like none of their relievers can get it right this year. Making a move for Gagne or Brad Lidge would be a good idea for the Cubs to add some stability in their pen. I'd be tempted to let the starters just pitch 9 innings every time.

Almost every MLB team is hurting for solid pitching and the Cubs are one of them. I can understand your frustration but just take a deep breath and look at your team this year. They have a real shot at the playoffs and would not hesitate to go after a good pitcher or two should they become available. I really believe they are more in need of a solid starting pitcher but maybe they can find some relief help as well.

not so much all the time, besides Scott Eyre. Howry isnt doing so bad, Dempster was doing good till he went on the DL, Wuertz sucks, this whole cycle between Sean Gallengar and Billy Petrick is retarded, Will Ohman isnt that bad. Ok yeah I hate the Bullpen.

Definitely. With Demmpster being so inconsistant. They have no one that can keep a lead secure. Yesterday was just awful. I understand why they keep Zambrano in for as long as they can.
