Getting tickets from ticketmaster is a no-go, and stub-hub is expensive. How are scalper prices?

Depends on how many tickets you want and how flexible you are and how much your willing to spend.

First off, Red Sox tix are THE most expensive in the league. I believe the average face value for a ticket at Fenway is north of $50 now. (there was an article about this in SI earlier this year).

For most opponents (not the Yankees) there are scattered single seats available if you call 1-877-REDSOX9.

On game day the Red Sox "may" release additional seats, you need to call the number above at 10AM to see if you can get them. For example, I was looking for 2 tix to this weeks KC series, called everyday for 2 weeks, finally the day before the series started I was able to buy 2 Monster seats directly from the Red Sox @ $140.00 per seat.

Since $140 each was a little to rich for my blood, I ended up getting 2 bleacher seats from Ace tickets for $69 each ~ $140 total. Face value $23 + ticket master charge.

You can try eBay or Yahoo auctions. Also Craigs List sometimes has decent tickets. Last year I bought tickets on StubHub, there is also Aceticket.com, ticketsnow.com, ticketliquidator.com buyselltix.com. If you google Red Sox tickets you will get pages of ticket agencies. No matter where you buy them you are going to pay above face value. The Red Sox are always in high demand and sell out every game regardless of the opponent.

I stay in BOS and inspite of the undeniable fact that one hundred fifty.00 is costly for bleacher seats, you will possibly be greater advantageous off paying a important business business enterprise and getting "genuine" tickets. final year, whilst i grow to be waiting to bypass into an Orioles/Sox activity, some new child bought 2 tickets from a scalper and whilst he have been given to the front, they scanned the tickets and that they confirmed up as stolen. to evade rigidity, embarrassment and probable explaining your scalped purchase to a police officer, i might pay the one hundred fifty.00. in simple terms my very own opinion as a die-hard Sox fan for 35 yrs. i might hate to leave out ANY activity over some thing like that. desire to confirm you there!
