On our 20th Anniversary, he told me to pack a bag that he had a surprise. He drove for over an hour to a mansion that rented rooms. He had packed wine and wine glasses, rented the room himself and planned everything as a surprise. He's a musician, so later in the evening he gave me a song he had written for me. It was inside of a card that he actually hand painted. We spent the night and the next day, had breakfast there and went shopping at a large outlet. My husband hates to shop, so that was pretty special. We'll be married 33 years this Friday and he constantly surprises me with little romantic ideas, but that is the one that stands out the most. It really made it special to me, because financially we have struggled our entire married life, so I know he really had to plan to pull it off.

On Valentine's day 2 years ago, he got up early went to the bathroom and took a lot of post it notes and put them all around the mirror, which was at least a good 50 of them, and each one had something different written on it. I thought that was so romantic, because when I got up and went to clean my face, I looked into the mirror and saw all those notes..

My husband had an affair and I threw him out. He continued to pay all the household expenses even though I refused to talk to or see him. He did this because he knew I couldn't afford to. He is back home now. In hind sight it would have meant more if he had agreed to castration
