Well, if you expect to be broken into, you might as well make it easy and cheap for both of you.

Do not lock the car.. instead just put some kind of disable devise on the car so it can not be stolen. Then leave nothing in the car that is worth stealing,... get a faceplate radio, empty out the car and put an alarm on the trunk. Even if they choose to get into your car, you will lose nothing and not take the hit of a broken window.

Vandalism is something different... It has no clearly defined goal (like stealing goods ) which you can address.

Best solution there is a car cover....

good luck

It feels like a coarse community! in case you're unlikely to have the means to inspect the motor vehicle alarm at any hour, and have the means to pay attention it, its style of a waste. anyhow via the time you pay attention it your motor vehicle has already been broken in to. save the money you will spend on an alarm, and flow your self to a nicer place

Put in a loud system, and pump it up, Make sure everyone knows that you have subs and audio products in your car. People will appreciate your car and no one will touch it.

It won't save you, but it'll help prevent it-- cover it with a car cover.
