Stop adding the medication. Medications should always be the last resort because they can have adverse affects on water chemistry (like blue water). The other reason could be that you have a bacterial bloom. Cyanobacteria is a blue-green type of bacteria that photosynthesizes. If you cut your tank off from light for 3 days, and feed the fish a half as much food as normal, the water should be crystal clear. The Goldfish are fine to put back into the water. Good luck!

Medications often turn the water blue-green. It means that the medication is working. It's safe to put your fish back in just do water changes and eventually it will get back to normal just do a couple of water changes

Hello, i would like first to tell you that theres is nothing wrong with puting back you fish back in .
Did you clean out your tank after death of your first fish?
If not it will be the acid of the infection of the fish that has spread round and made other fish cach it you will just need to go to your local store and ask for a cleaning spong it is a specail kind and takes all the bad things from the water and makes it Very clean and the colour of water.
Allso you will need to take a little of water from your tank and take it to your pet store and they will check if your water is ok
for fish yo live in.
If you have a petstore called ''Pets at home'' they will do it free of charge.

If you need any more help just e-mail me i will get back to you .
hope to be a help.

ps. I hope your problem gets sorted out. ;-)

Are the other fish ok? If they are, why treat them? It's like medicating a child who isn't sick. I would do a water change in the tank and recycle it to get it ready for more fish or to put the old ones back in. A lot of times after you treat a sick fish, it is recommended that you do a 50% water change in a few days.
