If so, how does it make you feel? Hurt, sad, unloved, like he doesn't care about you, etc.?

Sweetheart, if I am 48 and have lived alone and raised my kids alone for close to 10 years I should hope I am not doing anything that requires discipline. I know how to make a responsible decision. We'd be living in the streets if I didn't.

Any man who doesn't like who I am can take a hike. It would bode better for him than raising a hand to me.

If he had your lack of respect and insight he'd still be single.

So, no, I am not offended that he does not raise his hand to me. Those are the hands that comfort and pleasure. That's all he's allowed to use them for as far as I am concerned.

No. I would never be in a relationship like that at least not for long. Because that's abuse no matter how you look at it. If someone did that to me, I WOULD feel hurt, unloved, and like she really doesn't care about me. But seeing as that doesn't happen to me, I don't feel any of those things. I feel loved, I feel cared for, I don't feel sad. If I was abused, then I would certainly feel bad

Yes. But I know he loves me. I think he may have the DD mindframe though. I am just to scared of wigging him out to give him the idea. I know I need a good old fashioned honest to goodness OTK whoopen at times. He hasnt done it though,

Oh no, Dear. He tried the discipline approach. That's when I discovered there are more uses for a cattle prod than the recommended ones. It's been ever so much more peaceful since then.

for 18 miserable years I was verbally abused & constantly humiliated by my husband.

From the excesive stress I end up with terminal illness. May God forgive my ex husband for his cruelty.

The only "discipline" I will tolerate from any man is the kind that's for fun only, in the bedroom. Anything else and he won't be my man anymore.

No, my husband disciplines me when I misbehave. I know I will get lots of haters with this answer, but my husband and I practice domestic discipline in our marriage and it works for us. My husband loves me very much and takes good care of me, and I love and respect him for it. But, when I misbehave or have a bad attitude, I get spanked.
