okay say sumthing is 5 dollars (in european money) then how much wloud it be in american dollars.
is it just doubed or do u add about 2 dollars

5 euro = $6.90
Before I left the last time I made a very small list of conversation amounts and kept it in my pocket. That way if there was something I wanted to by I could just look at the chart and know how much it was in American dollars.

You would need $1.30 or so to buy one Euro, but you will find the prices are higher too.
So if you would spend $5 in the USA, expect to be able to buy $3 worth for it. (But it will be shown as 2.50 Euro.)
All numbers in this answer are rounded to make it easier to understand.

you should try an exchange conversion website--but my last check was abou 145 % of a us. dollar.
