the part number is stamped on the prop between the blades. The number would be something like 48-1234-17P
The last two digits followed by the P indicates the pitch.

right the awnser to your question after having a look at one of my many powerboats i have like a show room of them just sat there in a heated garage they do get used is it's stamped on the side between the blades or on the ring behind the prop nut probally by the make of prop

Most of them are printed around the prop shaft nut (The hub of the prop, around the prop shaft nut) - is that clear as mud?
