there is no reason why it is illegal.... I mean what difference is it to anyone how many wives I have? Marriage is a religious thing(at least traditionally), what does the gov have to do with that(separation of church and state). That being said, who really cares... You can be with as many woman or men as you want, the government just will not recognize it(or you get married through the state and get arrested).... but who cares.... why did anyone think we need to get the gov involved? Who was the guy or woman who sat there and said "You know what baby, being married to you is the best, but you know what would make it better? If we got the government involved. Then it would be even better and more meaningful"

Marriage needs to be defined as a joining of ONE man and ONE woman.
If this does not happen once one is made legal that will mean they all will made legal.
Do you think it would be ok for a 60 year old man to be married to a 6 year old child?
That is what will happen if any form of marriage is made legal besides, one man-one woman!

Could a wife have more than one husband? Doesn't sound like much of a marriage to me.
You must have never been married. It is difficult enough to keep one wife happy. I sure wouldn't want to try to have several at once.

No, it should not be legal to marry more than one wife. For one thing, there are not enough women to go around as it is. For another, it is sexist... unless you are willing to allow for a woman to be married to more than one guy. Are you? Seems most people arguing for polygamy only apply it to the guy and his wives. Hmm...

It doesnt even sound like marriage any more so what the heck are you talking about......a men or a women shouldn't be thinking about anybody else as long as they are married.......and if you dont like that and if you wanna have lots of woman than dont get married.........gosh......your a PERV.....

Sure, you'd have twice the nagging, PMS would be double the fun, sex would drop off twice as fast, you'd have double the expenses, kids and inlaws. You go man,get yourself a second wife and let us know how that works for ya!
