Surely you 'Yahoo' folks must know what a game of greed and the sheep-herding of the american public of 'the ignorant and scattered minded 'you are playing. You and your tools of internet trade and electronic commerce couched in the lais et faire traditions of ethical Capitalism, are no more concerned with ethics, morals or values, than a lion in africa is concerned as to the feelings of the wilderbeast it devoured last month. So, with all that in mind, I suggust, from the 'cheep seat that I sit', that you'd better review and recheck your premises. A=A.

What the?!

I think you meant laissez-faire (french for leave it alone) & cheap seats but aside from that, not sure the exact target of your rant...

I find Yahoo entertaining. I can't say I've had any problems with the so-called community guidelines. I'm not too sure what those even are...

Anyway, obviously you've had some sort of an incident...

Good luck with it. Whatever it is, don't let it get to you.

i have to say i think they are concerned with ethics, morals and values, and that doesnt conflict with any commercial goals. in order to attract the type of consumer who will stay with the site, spend money directly on the site or on the advertisers, they must maintain their reputation. I am not saying that those who would go to a smut site would never spend money, and they might even spend money for non-smut type things, but there is a larger group of consumers who demand certain standards, and community guidlines are an attempt in that direction.
