The top of my left foot is swollen up and I am having trouble getting a shoe on?

Any suggestions how to get it to go down. I have a pain in the lateral side of my left foot and when I bend my foot to walk it hurts. I am not sure how this occured.
Any suggestions?

place an ice pack on the top of your foot for fifteen minutes. Do this several times a day to help bring down the swelling. Use Advil capsules four times daily to help with the inflammation And pain.

I recommend you see a Podiatrist as soon as possible to find out what is going on with your foot. They can give you the proper medical treatment for your problem.
