tri-county which is a mental hospital labeled her as the mind of a 9 yearold. however it was asked that that charge be dropped because she can drive, hold a job.etc. from what i know, there is a statement that the police got that he did have sex with her, 3 times. then her boyfriend found out. and know they are saying he raped her and that would get rid of the money problem too. she also claims he said he was an indian and he married them and she was told she had to do it to please the cheif. she didnt want to, but she did not forcefully. thats what the article in the newspaper states.

No, giving someone money is not against the law and doesn't prove a thing.

Best ask your dad's attorney before you do anything. You do or say the wrong thing, and it could actually HURT your dad's case. Truth is that the money doesn't matter anyway. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that he is innocent, as everyone is innocent until proven guilty, but truth is that he wouldn't tell you if he were guilty, either. I only say that because the circumstances do not matter. Her relationship to your father does not matter. All that matters is whether or not they had sex, and whether or not it was against her will. The good news is that she has to prove he is guilty. If he didn't do it, then there should be nothing to worry about. I'm sorry you have to experience this, but talk to the attorney, and let the legal system do its duty. Good luck!

They'd have to come forward as witnesses. Statements won't cut it. Then though it just offers an alternate theory. It doesn't mean a jury will buy it, especially depending on other evidence.

It may help his case slightly by proving that she did owe him money. But that alone will not prove his innocence. Her credibility will also have to be shot down. By proving she is a worthless low life lying screamer of false alarms, or something to that affect.

You can't just cry rape. There has to be some kind of evidence that he did it. The fact that she owed him money would actually give him motive to want to hurt her.

My best advice is just tell the truth when you are on the stand. Anything else will make it confusing for you and your testimony questionable.

This sounds like a question for a lawyer.
