Last summer, a John Deere gator (click on link for picture)http://www.deere.com/en_US/ProductCatalog/HO/servlet/com.deere.u90785.cce.productcatalog.view.servlets.ProdCatProduct?pNbr=1970W&tM=HO
was going over 30 mph and it drove right into me. I flew into the air, flipped over and landed on my head. When I woke up 2 minutes later, I was lying in pool of blood and I had short term memory loss problems throughout the night. Doctor in ER said that the cut in the back of my head was so deep he saw my skull. Did cat scan and said my skull didnt break though.
Question: Is it possible for me to have any permanent effects from this and if yes what are they? Also if ppl tell me I've been very "spaced out and out of it" since the incedent, should I be worried?

it's always possible to have reactions that are different from others. Normally with a concussion you recover pretty quickly. I've had a concussion and recovered with no side effects. I think you need to see your medical doctor because It maybe something else going on that is causing you to feel spaced out.

Well, I had a concussion when I was in the second grade. I'm not about to tell you how long ago that was...but it was in the 1950s! I'm still living and doing well.

If you are experiencing dizzy spell or feelings of "being spaced out" you probably should consult a doctor. You probably just have this accident on your mind and you're focusing on it right now. Thinking about possible symptoms could bring them on.

However, you should consult a doctor if you're worried about yourself. I think you'll be fine!
