It bothers me when people whine about their life and they haven't necessarily been through the real life stuff. Life isn't supposed to be fair. It's about making choices and learning through experiences, good and bad. Usually, the people that have been through the worst adversity are the ones that don't complain.

You make the best of the hand you are dealt and find something to be happy about everyday! That is all anyone can do!

It doesn't bother me, but it definitely puts a damper on things....I would like to think that everything works out for the best, even if bad things happen.

The only thing that bothers me when people say that is the tone they are saying it in. It's like 'poor me' and there are always people that have it worse.

life IS pretty fair, for the most part. it IS what one makes of it by using one's resources and energies to the best of their abilities.
the UNfairness is if one is stricken by a ravaging disease or hit by a bus when he took care not to bring it on himself.

Yes, but you can always use that to your advantage... since life isn't fair, it can unfairly reward you too without any work on your part.
