I have blood stains on some garments and a towel of mine. i put them in cold water to try to keep it from setting, but what's the best way to get the marks out permanently? (^_^" i'm not a psycho-killer, i promise! lol although i probably WILL get an answer from at least one...creepy. O.o)

Salt and cold water normally removes blood stains.

Hydrogen Peroxide....wet garment with cold water and pour peroxide on the stain, it will bubble.Repeat until stain is gone. You could also put some soap on the stain,but the peroxide will bring it out.:) Then Launder as usual.

Hydrogen Peroxide. Soak the blood-stained area in that, let it sit a while, then wash as normal. I've done that for my husband's work pants, and you can't tell they were ever bled on.

Take and pour some hydrogen peroxide on it.It will bubble up and loosen the blood.Once it is fading wash in cold water and bleach if it is white cloth.Hope this helps.

a product called 'lestoil' (sold in walmart) gets blood out quickly. just follow the directions and be sure not to dry the clothes until its out completely because the heat will set the stains.

sucking it out is the best way.your saliva brakes down the blood.sounds sick but its true...
