I have two choices.

1. Take my driving test in a big city (more traffic, etc.) in late July.

2. Take my driving test in small city (less traffic, etc.) in late August.

What would you do!????!!?!

I would probably opt for #2, but I used to live in San Francisco, and there they used to just set up a parking lot to simulate a road and take your test on that. If that's the case in your big city, I would try to do that.

If you are a good driver the sooner the better. If you are kind of skeptical of your driving ability wait for the small city. But just remember it is all fun and games now until everyone starts asking you for favors or to drive them here and there.

Do it in the small city, or wherever you took your lessons (if you did). If you really want to do it in the big city, take a lesson there first so that you know the routes they might take. But i like #2 better because I can't imagine parallel parking in a big city...nightmare

that all depends on how much you want to drive and also how good your driving skills are. do you think you can handle more traffic yet? if not then wait, but you will deal with a lot of traffic at some point. plus if you wait another month it will give you more time to practice. good luck

I would go for the small town in August. There will be less traffic and you will have a whole extra month to practice.

small city would be great to start. Going for your first test is going to be a little scary. In the small town there would be less to worry about.

Big city--to much traffic, the examiner will not want to spend any more time than he has to in traffic, you will probably be asked to drive around the block, and maybe park if their is someplace to do this. Big City.......................

It depends on how badly you want your license and how confident you are driving in heavy traffic.
