Never get a group of contractors made at you .

I knew a dozen builders who refused to do work for Lawyers and would only sell them spec houses .
They would never build a custom home because the lawyers never paid .

After ten years the lawyers got wise and filed a class action suite claiming discrimination against a group of builders who where building out an upscale golf course community who refused to contract custom homes for lawyers .

I know some lawyers. I have to say that getting rich by defending people you know are guilty for heinous crimes is just nasty. Also, getting rich by suing people that can't afford to pay for their prescriptions is also just nasty.

Not saying all lawyers are like this, some fight for good, those I like.

The government allows people to abuse welfare, allow drugs to be brought into the country, allow people to own guns more powerful than the police, and spends money on things that I am just against. Also, the people that are the most powerful are the most dirty.

There are a lot of money hungry lawyers out there. I hate seeing their commercials about how you can get fast money for your car wreck.

They fleece companies till they go bankrupt and legitimate people can no longer seek compensation. This is seen over and over with asbestos claims and etc

How 'bout that illegal Mexican drug smuggler that was shot by a border patrol agent. He's suing the government for $5 million. I'd like to know the lawyer representing that case.

I am perplexed at the connection you are making between the article and your broad generalization. Lawyers will be on both sides, representing FEMA and the contractors. Without lawyers, who would vindicate people's rights? Everyone hates them until they need them.

I can about imagine. We have a small business and have more trouble with the wealthy and higher educated class. They just feel that since we choose to live a simpler life that we are less intelligent as they are. Isn't it funny how you do business for hundreds of wonderful people who pay their bill on time and it only takes one of these people to ruin your year? As far as government goes I personally dislike most of them because they do nothing but stick their noses into my life. Every time I turn around they are telling me that we need more done in America and taxes need to go up. All I want to do is have money in my account to pay my bills. I don't think that my taxes should be going up because our school thinks they need things like peace polls and salary increases for teachers that are mediocre at best. I wish they'd give up just a fraction of their salaries to support things. And they are all yes-men. I despise yes-men.

That has nothing to do with lawyers

It has to do with FEMA not paying contractors for Katrina efforts

Just another Bush screwup!

No.

Why wonder about something so obvious?
