My best friend and I have known each for so long that we have no problem being completely nude in front of each other. It's not like we go out of our way to be naked together but when the situation arises we have no problem. For example, she has a pool so if either or both of us need to change - we'll just do it in front of each other. Or if we're getting ready to go out together and one of us needs to shower or change.
I know most girls have no problem changing in front of each other. Do other girls have a problem being completely nude in front of their (best) friends? Is our relationship out of the ordinary or are their other girls out there like us?

While I may lack an extra X chromosome to really contribute, I'd like to offer that I've known several heterosexual women who have no difficulty in baring it all to their close friends.
Some women, as it has been explained to me, have a much deeper appreciation for the female form, which may explain why some women can have bisexual encounters while still remaining heterosexual. On the other hand, I do know other women who are as apprehensive about being nude in front of a friend (female, usually) as most men typically are. It could be a self-consciousness thing, or just a personal trait that tells them, in their heads, to be uncomfortable. There's nothing wrong with that way of thinking, and there are plenty of women who do feel that way.
In your case, a lot of women are also simply more comfortable with their own bodies, and I think it factors into the inter-gender appreciation aspect of it.
Simply put: some women are just more comfortable with themselves. You and your friend seem to fall into that category, which is really quite admirable.

If ur friends then changing etc in front of each other shouldn't be a prob but I'm wondering how other naked situations arise? Maybe u should both try nudist colony or summink!!!

I do not see a prob with this, however, I would not get naked in front of my best friends because I am not secure with my body and I would feel uncomfortable. I also would feel uncomfortable if they got naked in front of me. But I think because I was raised very modestly, that plays a huge part in it. Your guys' relationship is not out of the ordinary at all and most girls are fine with it!!

Americans are TOO SHY about it. Just go nude! My female friends don't seem to mind.. they think its cute! I always go nude after my shower before putting on my clothes.. I don't care if female friends see or not. Nothing sexual about it anyways. As long as we know we're just friends and trust its only that, then its completely fine. I think male/female friendship is stronger if they see you nude all the time, but know there is nothing sexual about it at all.

I've always been comfortable with what you describe and still am. I'll change clothes in front of my friends, skinny dip, or sunbathe nude...I'm that way around a number of my platonic male friends also. Sometimes it's just not convenient to be modest. ☺

Well personally i wouldnt change in front of my best friend even though i have known her FOREVER!! i just find it a little but weird, but you can do whatever you want and no its out of the ordinary at all its perfectly normal, all that matters is that you are comfortable.

No no hun. Its not just you, its all girls. We don't mind being naked around other girls. I explained this to guys because they ask. A guy I used to work with asked we we were so comfortable and my other friend was there as well and we tried to explain that we are just comfortable with seeing eachother naked. We don't need to hide ourselves or be embarressed because the other is naked. I even commented to my friend one day that I was jealous of her boobs. I think they look better than mine.

I think you and your friend are just THAT comfortable around eachother. I've changed infront of my best friend, and never thought twice about it. I mean, we wouldn't strip down or anything for the Heck of it, but I think you and your friend have a good relationship, that it doesn't bother either of you to change infront of eachother.

It really depends on the friendship. Some girls have no problem with their bodies and their friends don't either so it's no big deal. I wouldn't worry about it too much as long as you feel comfortable and respected.
