Most high schools in the Chicago area don't have lists of school supplies. They expect by the time you are in high school that you know what you will need and since there is such a variety of courses it would be difficult to cover all of them. I would suggest starting school with paper, pencils, pens, a calculator, and maybe a few other basics. The rest you can get as you go along.
