To me, this statement seems to be true, at least by what I've seen.

I would say not necessarily. Usually all of the newsiest Yahoo Answers I run across ask things like, "How do I..." or "Why can't I ask anymore questions..." etc as far as Yahoo Answer goes because they are new and do not know much about how things work and soon – young and older members alike. What is probably being observed is that youthful exuberance with their thinking that they are going to have some fun .... and then the violations, trolls, posers, and clones happen ..... and then they go away or get deleted.
