Yes, the question has been asked before, just want to know if there are any updates to what I have heard before. And as amusing as they are, comments like "its a glitch in the matrix", and "hey, I think I've answered this question before" get old very quickly, so please, just people with theories please.

from what i was always told.....when u sleep and dream, ur soul leaves ur body wich is what makes dreams. then once the "dream comes true" its deja vu. The average person has 15-20 dreams a night but only remembers 2 or 3.
just what ive heard.

Deja Vu is an interesting phenomenon. It's the feeling that you have been somewhere or done something before, even if it's your first experience.

I have two theories, actually. The first one is very unorthodox, and concerns reincarnation. While I don't exactly believe in it, I don't discount it either. There have been some interesting documented reports of people who have lived a previous life, perhaps as long as a century ago, and get flashbacks of their prior existence.

My other theory has to do with memories that occur in infancy. Most people don't remember anything about their lives prior to the age of three or four, but it's possible that some remain in the subconscious, events that occurred, and places visited when they were still babies.

The brain is very much like a computer. You overload it, and it crashes; thus a memory is lost. However, it can often be revisited if the right conditions prevail, just like a computer's memory might be buried in menus, sub-menus, and can accidentally pop up on your screen if you hit the right buttons.

Thanks for a very interesting and thought-provoking question. We don't often get any like that.

There are countless reasons for this phenomenon and the fast answer is that no person knows of for particular. in spite of the shown fact that some theories comprise: a million. The innovations lapses and shuts down for a 2nd then hurries as much as compensate giving the sensation of deja vu. 2. comparable as above yet with sight and eyes. 3. the guy has a definite attunement with the stars and is partly/subconsciously psychic. 4. The brokers have replaced some thing interior the matrix and you're walking right into a seize.

Unfortunately that is a mystery.

I have read several places that it is not know what causes this phenomenon but that it may be your subconscious misconstruing past events and given you the feeling that something has happened before. Other people say it is because they have a premonition or dream that something was going to happen.

Most people get deja vu only as something is happening so I disagree with the dream or premonition theory.

Hope that helps!

A glitch in the Matrix

OK, I'm an idiot. In some instances, not the norm, it is associated with certain types of epilepsy as a brain abnormality.
