I think the Falcons should cut Michael Vick right now.

Joey Harrington won't cut it. Why not give it a shot with Daunte Culpepper and rebuild the organization.

Keeping Michael Vick would be worse for the franchise.

Plus, if you wait until the NFL suspends Michael Vick it'll be too late - they can't suspend a player until he's found guilty and that won't be until after the 2007 season is over.

Vick should get suspended. Unfortunately, he'll likely not receive a suspension, because its his first offense, and the rule for automatic suspension is for repeat offenders.

That isn't a bad idea considering the fact that Michael Vick is most likely going to be suspended by the NFL and the best part is we'll get to see Culpepper overshadow Joey Harrington again LOL.

They are the dumbest franchise I have ever seen. They got rid of a qb (Schaub) that they probably could have built around. Now they are stuck with a futre felon and a bust in Harrington. DJ Shockley is the best qb on their roster. If I were ATLanta I would try to package a deal to get Leftwhich or Gerrard from Jax. That is their best bet. This Vick thing will set the Falcons back another decade because of an owner and an idiotic player that seem to be working together to doom a franchise.

I think it is a very likely scenario, not that they dump Vick, but that they get Culpepper just in case. I also would feel a bit sorry for Harrington as he would once again lose his starting job to Culpepper..he has to hate the thought of this happening..but come on, he is Joey Harrington, he knows he sucks..and gets paid well to suck.

Yes, they should...That is really their only option(Culpepper) since they stupidly traded away Matt Schaub...Maybe Joey Harrington can win some games, as he did for the Dolphins, but he is not a long term answer...They now probably HAVE to get Culpepper to salvage a season that hasn't nearly even started yet...

Well i got three Pep jerseys,
i've followed Culpecker since he first came to Minnesota,
and hands down hes got an arm. hes a big, tought, rough gunslinger.. oh by the way the 260lbs moves like bam bam biggelo scarry. But yes hes a choke artist, in his favor though, its minnesota! (I live here, our sports is always a one man show) We finally got out of the first round of the playoffs in the nba just a few years ago.. superbowl.. hah

He made some tough runs for tds, head on, shoulder first, the like. Hes got heart, the only question mark is that injury.

I say give him a chance,
Culpepper and Jeff Garcia are the two big comebacks im looking for.

Culpeper still has a big ? above his head. And the falcons should have already cut their losses with Vick after last season. The man can't run a team. Now with the legal woes they should get rid of him after this season for the moment they need to support him. Terminating his contract will only make them lose more money on a dificult situation already.

No, they need to go call Cody Pickett in..........Get him in camp and have him take over the backup spot from Harrington.....Then in the event that Vick gets suspended they have a guy that can come in and give the falcons a chance at winning.......

i was actually thinking along the same lines

HOWEVER if the falcons realease Vick, they are stuck with a cap penalty of $7 million for the first season and $15 million the next season.. This would be a devastating loss for them so he might as well stay.

Hey anyone will cut it for qb. Vick sucks. When teams force him to throw the ball (lets say its a all out blitz) watch him throw a ball 40 feet away from a receiver. This "standout" qb is throwing at a 70. something rating
