My favorite team in order Rangers, Red Sox, and Mets. My favorite hitters are BBonds, Manny Ramirez, Pete Rose, DStrawberry. Pitchers are DTrain Willis, Josh Beckett, and C.C. Sabathia, Doc Gooden.
When I play I enjoy everything.

I like the Atlanta Braves because back in the eighties my father got cable for the first time. We started watching them but they were so so. In 1990 the Braves finished the season in last place. In 1991 I had already moved to Atlanta and went to many games that year. They would draw maybe 3000 people. It made it very easy to get tickets until August. That is when the Braves were in the running for the pennant. Latter that season I took my father to the Dodgers vs. Braves in Fulton County stadium. Dodgers & Braves were tied for first place at that time, and the Braves won! The game was also a sell out. That was the first time I saw the stadium full. The Braves did win the pennant and went to the World Series. They did lose to the Minnesota Twins in seven. After that season the Braves have been contenders almost every year. My father and I would watch together kind of, we would talk on the phone while watching the game. We did this also during the 1991 season. My father died in 1999, so baseball holds a lot of memories of him for me.
Favorite pitcher: Tom Galvin
Favorite player: David Justice

Baseball makes me think of two things: my childhood... and steroids.
My favorite team is the Detroit Tigers. My all-time favorite player is Lou Whitaker, but I currently like Justin Verlander. But until baseball convinces me that the steroid problem is resolved, I will be suspicious of the sport at the professional level. So I am sticking to watching little league games for the time being.

when i was a little girl, my grandfather coached an optimist team out in the cornfields. just the wind and the corn. when i was a bit bigger, i remember the bricks at wrigley and harry's voice on tv. the first time i went to the field of dreams site (yes, its still there and looks the SAME,,you can play catch out there, too) the childhood feeling was there all over again.
now im grown up and there is nothing in this world like driving down addison and seeing wrigley field. it gives me goosebumps and brings tears, no matter how many times i go. if you take the el to wrigley, when the doors open, the smells of the neighborhood and the ballpark are overwhelming. then you walk in and everyones happy, its a good day. how can you not love baseball and the cubs?

Baseball is something more, it a passion. I LOVE the DODGERS! and my fave. player is Russell Martin #55. When he goes out to bat i always scream! Yeah, i know...when a batter stoke out. I yell...GIVE THAT BOY A BIGGER BAT!! I love the sport and it means a lot to me. Its been passed down from my grandfather.
Besides my grandfather played the sport and as well as my father. I sadly have to play softball. But if I had a choice i would say BASEBALL ALL THE WAY BABY!

Baseball is my favorite sport. I've been playing for about 4 years now. I've loved it almost forever. Its not like any other sport, its not timed, doesn't promote violence, and anybody can be victorious on any given day. My favorite team is the New York Yankees, and favorite player is Mariano Rivera.

i am a sox fan (red sox that is, the better of the two), baseball means alot to me, the whole experience of going to fenway park is mind blowing, its beautiful and inspiring at the same time, when you think of all the legends who played there. I have to say right now josh Beckett is my favorite player, i like his attitude he is a gamer and i respect that. baseball is just a plain great sport, it can be watched, analyzed , dissected, and its still hard to understand, yet it is so simple at the same time.
