Astrange thing is the blues everybody down the line of the blues has picked off others every riff every term has a feeling from before but John Lee Hooker was a gracious man who learned all through his life his music he played the blues and the music he made was his so under the name of the song Boom Boom you will always find the words John Lee Hooker.....TM

Not only did the Animals do it, but for a nice
LIVE snippet of ol' John Lee himself and his
band pulling-off a great, mesmerizing and
torrid version of it, catch the original 1980
"The Blues Brothers" film.

So tragic the spot is such a short clip (it's
likely a minute or so--but WORTH IT!).

Y/A Blues category about this very thing.

The Animals, Yardbirds, Muddy Waters, & Rufus Thomas that I know of.
Also "Boogie Chillun" is an entirely different song although sounding similar.
It's just that John Lee Hooker groove style.

Its really called Boogie Chillin'.

Yes, lots of people cover that song. Its kind of like a blues standard.
