No! It's a natural, physical response to a disease that, frankly, isn't very "pretty"! My ex-house-mate had herpes, and got sores on her thighs, too! Ugh. When she & another person living there angrily asked why I used to clean the toilet seat after she used it and took my own towel into the bathroom, I told them, "Look, YOU (the other house-mate) can take your chances and get herpes, too, but I have every right to protect myself!" (I taught health, and knew that Herpes IS transmissible, through small cuts in the skin...anywhere!)
I understand those who HAVE it feeling upset that their disease grosses others out, but that's just how it is sometimes. They should respect the right of others NOT to catch it, too! (She didn't tell my best friend, who dated her, that she had herpes, either!). So, really, why should you care what people like think, when they don't care about spreading it?

i do no longer understand what the wellness care expert gave you, yet herpes remedies like Valtrex (and others) will in simple terms approximately thoroughly ward off sores from flaring up. it is going to nevertheless take place from time to time. The therapy will additionally shorten the dimensions of time that the sores look. Passing the an infection directly to others once you have no longer have been given sores is a lot much less possibly, yet nevertheless a probability.

it is gross...but someones gotta take care of it
You would be surprised how many people actually have this. People you would never expect. I'm sure it was gross to them when they found out, but they have to live with it and it's noones place to talk about it. So many people have to deal with this disease, but I've seen much "grosser" diseases than herpes!

Yes, it is wrong to think, "Herpes are gross." Better to think, "Herpes is gross." ;-) ('Herpes' isn't plural. Like 'pox' isn't plural.)
