I agree it's better to have loved because...

Because.... Ugh.... All right, because if you have never loved at all then some people may find you a little on the cold and blank side, and you'll just spend the rest of your life wondering.
And I don't agree it's better to have loved because sooner or later you'll most likely break up with that person if you're together, and you'll be all heart sick or guilty... I think... Or, if you loved a person and they didn't love you back it'll break your heart when they get with some one else.

No I don't agree you can invest a life time into something or someone and turn out to be the worst mistake of your whole life and you have to deal with it the rest of your life

I could have done without in my case....he was abusive now I'm stuck with never knowing the love of a partner again because I'm scared of men.
