So we can add FEMA to the endless list of government inefficiencies, including Am-Track, USPS, education, farm subsidies, etc.

I can't wait for the government to take over medicine and health care, can you?

This shows that we don't need the government envolved in heathcare. Anything the government gets it's hands on, or is involved in, gets turned into a mess in one way or another. Instead of adding more government regulation, maybe we should lessen them.

You have a great sense of humor. Please don't start any rumors. We are in sad shape now and letting the government into health care would be the ultimate disaster. Peace

Somebody needs to do something about health care. Before too long, only the very rich will be able to afford decent care or an emergency by-pass or a kidney transplant.
And to the devil with all the rest who can't pay their price!

I'd be happy with the government taking over the payments for healthcare (which is being discussed, contrary to your incorrect premise)

NO, if I heard it on fox news I've said it a thousand times, Health care should only be for people who can afford it.
