The clip where Tidus and Yuna fall in love is in the first game (Final Fantasy 10) The clip I think you're talking about is called 'The Spring'.
It would take a long time to explain the whole story. Basically, Tidus is from the past (1000 years ago). In the future, he meets Yuna who is a summoner. A summoner is someone who is chosen to defeat the monster 'sin' who apears every once in a while. Tidus becomes her guardian and they fall in love. A lot of things happen in the game, but basically...

Tidus finds out the the monstor is really his dad. You see, every couple of years someone is chosen to become this monster. So Tidus must kill his own father. AND then!!
(here's the big surprise) You find out the Tidus, and the city he came from (Zanarkand) is just a dream. So after the game, there's this really sad ending where Tidus starts disapearing and Yuna runs through him.
That's not even close to the WHOLE story, but its good enough.
Basically, in the second game (X-2) Yuna is looking for Tidus, but as she's doing that, she runs into a guy who looks ALOT like Tidus in the farplane (the place where dead people go). His name is Shuyin. Shuyin also has a really sad story. You see, Shuyin (who is now dead) was in love with a girl named lenne. She too was a summoner, but when Shuyin found out the she was going to be put in the front line during a war, he tryed to save her. He kind of went crazy and tryed to use a big machine called 'The Vegnigun'. While he was doing that Lenne came along. They were both captured and killed. It's a very sad video clip. You should watch it.Just type in '1000 words' on Youtube. Anyways, so now that Shuyin is back, he wants to use the Vegnigun again. Yuna needs to stop him and find Tidus too.
