If you were in a burning room with Goerge W Bush and the last copy of the constitution, which would you save if you could only save one? We know the namby-pamby lieberals woud save the constiitution because they hate america.

I would save George W. Bush because he's the decider and way more important to america then some 200 yeay old peice of paper. He has saved us from the terrorist, what has the constitution done for us, besides protect anti-american liberals and hippies.

The Republicans are going to love you. You paint them with a blacker brush than the Democrats do. So you think Republicans feel Bush is more important than our Constitution and that the Constitution has caused nothing but trouble. Are YOU even an American? I've never met a real American who didn't revere our Constitution. But now there's you...

I'm an American and very much pro-American when we are not screwing up the world. The things that make this a great country are: Separation of church and state -- so that everyone can have any faith and the beliefs of any faith cannot define law (i.e. religious freedom) Freedom of speach -- ability to express any belief, including those against the sitting administration and current policies, without fear of government reprisal Equality and civil rights -- okay, it's been a road to get there but huge progress was made the latter half of the last century The Bush administration has taken all of the above backwards. His religion has greater inroads into governing and the prejudiced rhetoric of the Christian fundementalists has been increasingly wrapped into political issues. The Patriot Act is unpatriotic and that of a tyranical government. Equality doesn't exist for all and the Bush administration judges those with differences as less worthy of the same legal treatment, gay marriage as a prime example. Our constitution systemizes a peaceful change over in leadership every four years. The Democrats you see as unamerican are not, they simply and deeply value other aspects of this country than those of the sitting administration. That is one of the things that makes America what it is - a place where opposition is accepted (less so with Bush, but it's still not illegal). As far as world impression, the Bush administration garners one of bigotry, tyranny, and brutality more than any Democrat administration ever has. He's lied to the people about Iraq to further his own private agenda. He invaded another nation without provocation in defiance of the UN under the bogus label of "pre-emptive war." He's exempted himself from so very, very many of the laws he's signed. He's driven this country into huge debt while complaining about those who advocate for social services and adequate federal funding for "homeland" security. Many, many reasons to seriously have serious issues with the Bush brand of Americana. Having the ability to express them is about as American as it gets!

Don't you know by now that when you put up a post saying you only want one group of people to answer...you will get the opposite.

Now my answer...As much as I can't stand Bush's policies, I would save him because he is a human being and at least to me, human life is priceless no matter who you are!

By the way this Democrat is NOT Anti-American. You calling Democrats Anti-American is the true meaning of what being an Anti-American is!

Agreeing to disagree is what being an American is. I might not agree with your stance but I believe in your right to say what you want and in turn I would expect the same courtesy from you instead of being labeled an Anti-American by you.

I would save Bush since I think he is a person. A copy of the constitution would have to exist in a museum somewhere.

What are you, like 10? I think at the present time, even the republicans would save the constitution rather than George Bush. After all, it is an election year and the farther they can seperate themselves from him the better! Talk about cutting and running. So are you saying that he is even too stupid to leave a burning room? Thats not a nice thing to say about your president.

I would save GWB, because there are copies of the constitution, but there is only one GWB. I still don't like him however.

EDIT: Since you like semantics and really intelligent questions... why don't you proof read your questions before posting them to make them sound less stupid? Who's Goerge?

Democrat? Huh. If you are a con, then I want nothing to do with you. I would do what the first person said.

EDIT2: Wow, I think you just pissed off Republicans, Democrats, Independents, and Libertarians, all with one question. Basically all of thinking America! Way to unite the people :)

I would save them both, but only after Bush promised to live by the constitution.

Oh I'd save Bush as much as I dislike his policies. the spirit of the constitution lives on whether we have the original or not. Bush being burned alive.. well he doesn't really live on then does he?
