I had a slug invasion a couple of months ago. Just one as it turned out, it must have come in on the bottom of my shoe as a .... baby. I put salt down and waited but I never saw it ... I saw its trails going all over th ehouse but I didn't see the thing itself.
One day I was getting out of the shower and it's a good job I'm not in the habit of walking around barefoot, I walways step straight into my slippers, I took one step out of the bathroom and .... SQUISH.
I looked down and there were the remains of a huge slug. I was cringing for days.
