YES! whatever became of that? The airline said they were going to "investigate". Did the flight attendant lose her job? She should have. For those that don't know the story, there was a young mom on a plane with a toddler (the little boy is sooo cute!) and the toddler kept saying "bye bye plane" as the flight attendant was going through her speech. When she finished her speech, she went over to the lady and said "it was cute at first, but you need to shut your baby up." Then the flight attendant went to the pilot and lied to him and said the woman threatened her, and the plane turned around and made the woman and the baby get off the plane.

Horrid. I've personally met about 5 or 6 pretty bitchy flight attendants over many years. My fault for not reporting them for their callousness. I am glad that young mom call her on it. Traveling with young kids is a nightmare for moms. I've done it several time. Flights to Orlando On Eastern (now Delta) made it easy...they placed all the moms and kids on first to get them settled down and then all placed in the rear of the plane and it worked just fine for everyone.

It's discrimination. Kids are gonna have tantrams and cry. You just buckle them into their carseat/airplane seat and carry on. It should NOT be up to the discretion of their employees. Even as a parent I'm not delighted when my kids are tired and cranky, but I hardly think forcing them off a flight is necessary. Is that toddler going to become a season traveler over night? Newsflash: every adult alive today was a 19 month old once upon a time. Get over it, people.

Yes I think that was horrible. Who in there right mind would kick a child that small of because he was making noise. The only child that small being quite asleep.

The flight attendant just needs to borrow someones corkscrew and remove the Cob she has lodge.

Yeah I heard it, I don't agree with the flight attendant's drastic decision, but kids DO get annoying on planes. And parents don't know how to control 'em.

No, serves them right. Parents nowadays seem to think that they are heroes for having a kid, which they don't really want to teach manners (or anything else) to and then the rest of us have to put up with it. YOU wanted the child, YOU had the child, now YOU deal with the screaming and yelling.

She was a major A******. The mom should sue just cause the flight attendent had a bad day. That is why they have trouble with airlines anyway.

I heard the flight attendant is paranoid and totally over reacted what did she think a 19 month old could bomb a plane all the kid was saying is bye bye plane which I interpret as saying bye bye because they were on a plane that is the words people taught him or said it is a child they pick up words not entire sentences WTF?

ooooph...thats bad, I'd be pissed to if a flight attendant treated me and my child that way. That attendant needs to be careful what she wishes for some babies become overly excited and cranky on benadryl.
