I am traveling to Holland very soon, and I was wondering if anyone knew what is kind of the average pricing of food there. Like is it more expensive than our food here. And I don't mean like fancy resturant foods, i mean like kind of fast food or just a cafe. i know this is an extremely weird question, because food could cost a lot or a little, but i was just wondering if anyone had a range of pricings. or how much money for food I should bring with me for 10 days.(About one or two meals a day)

You can get your belly full in a 'snackbar' the local version of a fast food place, for about 5 Euro.
Bigger towns always have several cheaper places to eat, shoarma (kebab) and pizza places enough.
Smaller towns have at least a 'snackbar' and often a cheap Indonesian/Chinese restaurant too.
You can also self cater for breakfast and dinner, sandwiches, (if on a tight budget,) and just have something warm for lunch.

If you can bring 50 Euro per day you have a wide range of places to have lunch and dinner, for 100 Euro you will eat in restaurants each day.
But for 25 Euro a day you can eat out twice a day, if you stick to the cheaper places, (and add fruit from the market.)
1 Euro is about $1.30 or 0.65 UK pound.

The price of the food is quite average.

Breakfast if you go to the restaurant/cafe will cost you around € 4 - 8/person (including drink/coffee/tea).

If you're in Amsterdam/Utrecht/Rotterdam/Denhaag, visit de bakkerswinkel and have your breakfast here/brunch
http://www.debakkerswinkel.nl/

or Bagelsbeans normally they offered a breakfast/lunch package - will more cheaper.

Lunch normally you can get a bread or something light , will cost you around € 3/person

Fine dinner in the fancy restaurant wil cost around € 20-50/person

Try out to have your dinner at http://www.bazarrotterdam.nl/ if you're really hungry and enjoy their mediteranien meals.

And if you don't mind to have your dinner in the quick easy Asian restaurant you will spend about € 7-15/person

The Wok to walk. Meals are served in a square paper carton (which can be used for takeaway as well). Portions are absolutely massive and will satisfy even the most demanding client.

or go to chinese district !

succes!

Do you want to eat out all the time?
If so, what?

Around Leidseplein in Amsterdam you will find loads of restaurants, and you can get a basic one course meal for 5 Euro in many of them (about $6,50)

Supermarkets are cheaper, and you can get food for around 3,50 euros per person per meal there.

This is about general , if you have more specifics, please let me know.

So, one person, 2 meals a day you should reckon with about 100 Euros - 10 a day.
If you wish to have more expensive meals - adjust amount brought accordingly
