We did land on the Moon. That website is horribly misleading. The fact is that highly-qualified scientists have scrutinized each and every lunar photo and not a single reputable scientist rejects the lunar landings. Only people with a poor grasp of fundamental science do.
Consider the following:
1) Apollo 11 left a reflector on the lunar surface. This reflector, which is used to determine the Earth-Moon distance, has been detected thousands of times by astronomers on Earth.
2) Independent radio observatories were able to detect the Apollo radio transmissions coming from the Moon. If there wasn't a ship on the Moon, this would not have been possible.
3) The Moon rocks have been positively identified as being of lunar origin.
Evidence can't get any more incontrovertible than that.
These are three pieces of evidence that conspiracy theorists tend to conveniently overlook. They prove, to the highest scientific standard, that we went to the Moon. You should also note that there isn't a shred of scientific evidence that says that we didn't go.

People can put anything they want on a "forum". There is a silly conspiracy theory going around that the whole moon landing was faked. That is just plain preposterous. Thousands of people would have had to be involved in keeping the secret for almost 30 years from now. Do you really think that could have happened?
Someone who was involved would have written a book about the big lie and made millions.

I just this past weekend visited a museum in Huntsville where the actual Apollo 16 command module is on display. It was so neat to look at it and know "it's been there."
No, the crackpots who say it was faked are just that: crackpots. Their 'evidence' has been refuted and debunked completely. If you've got good critical thinking skills, you'll notice that pretty much all of their arguments are smoke and mirrors. They expect that nobody will do their homework and discover the inaccuracies in their arguments. They also show "recently declassified footage" showing the Astronauts faking a small earth using the CM's window and a darkened cabin. Hogwash.
For starters, the audio has been removed. Secondly, They only show a brief snippet of 'damning' footage out of context. If they have nothing to hide, why don't they post the original, unedited footage on their beacons-of-truth-websites? They don't because magicians don't give you enough time to see through their tricks. They get you to look at their left hand while their right is placing the palmed object in their pocket so when they open both hands, it has "disappeared." Also, there is usually this quasi-insane / disorganized feel to everything they write. The debunkers' articles are much more intelligible, matter-of-fact, and cite references.
Your question is definitely one of the most commonly asked questions in this area, but I get so disgusted with the jerks who want to trash what is arguably mankind's greatest achievement that I feel compelled to respond.
Thanks for at least asking in stead of simply repeating it to your friends as fact.

And you just saw here, in this Yahoo Answer, that it is this "forum" that is a lie.
There WERE several manned missions to the moon.
The Russians, which had the capability to prove it was bogus IF IT WAS, never said anything to prove it was faked, even if it would have been in the best interest to prove it was, because it was real and they KNEW IT.
There are imbeciles everywhere, that forum is just the proof of that.
If you come across a site that says the end of the world will happen in 2012, this is bogus also.
If you come across a site that claims the World Trade Center attack was staged by the FBI, that is also bogus.
If you come across a site that says Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, that is also totally bogus.

US landed on the moon. This is a very old conspiracy theory based evidence that doesnt really prove anything.
For example: The lack of stars in the background is because of the focal range of the cameras. If you want to experiment with this, try taking a snapshot of the nightsky and see how many stars you get.

Yes, everything is a lie. Everything on that forum that is. All the arguments are wrong. For example, two light sources cause every object to have two shadows, not different objects have single shadows pointing in different directions. It is uneven surfaces that make shadows point in different directions. All the other arguments are wrong in different ways. But those people can make up fake arguments faster than I can disprove them.

Well I worked on a laser system and ranged on the mirror that they left on the moon. It was to measure the orbit to a accuracy of 10 CM.
