In case there is a emergency and they need to lock the doors for the protection of the people inside the store. Or maybe they were once not 24/7

It is incase of an emergency situation. They can then lock the doors and protect those people within the building. They may never need to use them, but they are there in the event if they did.

Demi a store is classed as open 24/7, and it will be open untill maybe 7to9pm. Then they lock the doors, but open a hatch window so people can purchase what they need, petrol, basic groceries....but it also puts the attendant in safety incase of robberies............................but they still serve 24/7.................

for sure, doors comprise locks. shops that are open 24 hours nonetheless want locks for emergency applications like whilst there is a few chaos exterior...or they caught a lifter and function the want to verify he can not get away till finally government come...or whilst there's a nationwide want for shops and shops to close.

In case of emergency like a hurricane or flood and they have to leave, they lock up. If they do close on days like Christmas, they lock up and if they are robbed, when the police come to investigate, they lock up. That and it's municipal code that every dwelling must have locks on it.
