I agree with Georgie that they could win without making any moves. Though Jonesy has pitched great lately, he still makes me nervous. I think they should take a look at Gagne if the price isn't too steap, or maybe even Lidge, but neither of them is worth any of their high profile minor leaguers.

I dont think The Tigers will made any trades....not any major ones anyways.

I do know for a fact that are certain people in our minor league system are simply UNTOUCHABLE!

Meaning, we will NOT give them up for anyone!!!

Once Rodney gets back, we'll be fine.

I do miss Jamie Walker though.

HA HA HA
J-FAR! Sure, you can dream all you want!
BUT YOU AINT GETTING MY BOYS!!!

;-p

They are really good now and could win it all without making any moves. I believe they will keep their eyes open and if a solid position player or pitcher becomes available they would consider a move. They will not spend big bucks on a high priced veteran and tie up their cash and jeopardize plans for the future. If a solid relief pitcher becomes available they would have to take a long look provided they don't have to give up much.

The Tigers should trade Justin Verlander and Placido Polanco to the Mets for Jorge Sosa and Jose Valentin.

Hey, I can dream, cant I?

All they need is bullpen help and with Fernando Rodney and Joel Zumaya on the way back they do not need to acquire anyone via trade.

If it ain't broke; don't fix it. Last year, while watching them hammer my beloved Mariners, I noticed, to a man, they all
had the same swing. The same stance. They all made good
contact. The ball went all over the place and they controlled
where it went. No heroes. Just win. Don't see a difference
this year. Consistency.

Adam Dunn!! I know we don't really need him, but can you imagine pitching to Sheff, Maggs, Dunn, then Guillen??? But, they'll prolly at least try to get another reliever, so i say Dotell from the Royals for any minor leaguer except Maybin.

the tigers should try to get Otsuka/Lidge/Gagne and the Tigers should trade some prospects and cash because the tigers need to upgrade their bullpen
