The former US vicepresident provided 75 guests with Chilean sea bass - one of the world's most threatened fish species.
Gore who created the climate change documentary An Inconvenient Truth, sampled a sixcourse tasting menu at Beverly Hills' Crustacean restaurant which included the sea bass - also known as Patagonian toothfish.

I'm sorry, but did I miss the movie where Al Gore said don't eat endangered species??? It was probably a mistake on his part but he has never said anything along those lines. And I'm sure you could list off all the endangered species around the world off the top of your head. News Flash:::Did you hear that Al Gore bought a plastic toy yesterday from China which uses a much more energy inefficient way of making it compared to America. God, this guy has no clue what he is doing!!! Next time you buy that new pair of socks Al Gore, make sure you know what went on at every stage of its production because that's what any responsible American consumer would do!!!

what's wrong with him? i think he's incapable of changing himself, but has no problem telling others to change.
i used to work the restaurant industry and many places stopped serving Sea Bass because it is endangered. I guess if you're rich it's ok.
I take environmental issues seriously, but not too seriously. Mr. Gore is a clown and a tool.

Environmentalists fall into these traps all the time. They prance around lamenting about some woman's fur coat while proudly wearing alligator shoes. They rant about animals being used in medical tests, and then get saved from the pharmaceuticals developed from these tests. It's fun to watch.

No, it's universal for hypocrite. I don't like Al Gore at all - he is a terrible spokesman for the environment, liberals and democrats. But just because he's an imbecile it doesn't mean the causes he supports are bad.

another guy dumb enough to relaize GORE is pretty much out of the politics game now.
And hes not running in 08
AND his higher electricicty is because its of a newer green friendly electricity that hes actually absorbing more cost for .
When are you nuts ever going to get the facts right.
And it might be one of the rarest fish available, but if its on the market for sale, why not enjoy it if you have the money.
