Yes you can. There is a thin skin flap called the hymen, just inside the opening to the vagina that has an opening in it to allow the menstrual flow out. It may or may not tear a little with the insertion of the tampon into the vagina but should not cause any real pain. A tampon must be inserted all the way into the vagina or it will feel uncomfortable as it need to be past the wall of muscle. When inserted properly you should not feel the tampon inside of you. The string is the only part of the tampon left out to make removing the tampon easy. Also a tampon should never be left in for an extended period of time and will require changing several times a day.

Yes hun you can. Read the instructions and buy the applicator type, they are easier to put in. Start with the smaller ones (yellow tampax) and change it regularly. if it is all bloody you may need to use a bigger one ie green and change back down when there's a lot of white showing in the alloted time. you'll get to know what you need to do. You can flush both the applicator and tampon down the loo. Sorry if you know all that, and remember to relax as much as you can when you insert it or it'll hurt and wont go in properly. x

Yes but you may need to have junior ones and make sure it is up there far as you can get it or else it will hurt. If it hurts pull it out and use a new one until it don't hurt.

Yes, you can.
It's perfectly safe.
If it is your first time, you might want to
start by using slender tampons. they're easier for beginners
and people with smaller bodies.

Yep you can. It takes a while to get used to it though. I wore a pad mostly when I first started.
