Amnioscentisis
They insert a long needle and check the fluid around the baby for abnormalities. It can also check DNA..which is why he was mad at Victoria.
It is very risky and can result in death or severe complications in the fetus.
Usually it is doen with women who are pregnant over 40 or if they have risk factors....

amniocentesis.I am probably spelling this wrong but ,it's a procedure that some women have to check for birth defects but can also determine the sex of the child. The procedure has some risks to the unborn so Victoria says she won't have it.

The correct spelling is Amniocentesis. It's a surgical procedure for obtaining a sample of amniotic fluid from the amniotic sac in the uterus of a pregnant woman by inserting a hollow needle through the abdominal wall, used in diagnosing certain genetic defects or possible obstetric complications. It can also determine dna and determine the sex of the fetus. It can be done after 15 weeks of pregnancy.
