There's a guy here in Ohio who looks like one, because he has real fangs, and he drinks blood. This guy is truly terrifying, but he's very nice. His name is Robert.

There are very much so, cultish types, for lack of a better description, that are considered modern day vampires. Books are available about these cults, blood drinkers, believers, and also what's known as emotional vampires.
'Emotional vampires' is not a trendy term to label the overly needy or demanding. It is a very dangerous breed of person who thrives only on sucking the life out of innocent and unknowing people. It is best to educate yourself about these people and stay out of their reach. They are everywhere.
From what I understand/have read, it is these emotional vampires that have evolved from the ancient beasts like Dracula. They no longer need to stay out of the sunlight, etc.

Well certain cultures still do drink blood regularly, especially cow's blood. It is considered a common drink in many cultures. As to fangs and such go, not quite sure, I just think for the most part it is indeed a myth. Cannibalism exists though, so people are truly capable of doing crazy things, so being a vampire is not totally out of the question.

I don't think anyone really knows. I think if there are vampires (real ones), they live among us in "hiding". Then there are the people who want to believe they're vampires and do the whole fangs bit (dentures) and drink blood... like that cult in Florida. There are tons of different theories, but I'm sure whoever is a "true" vampire knows it, just as those who are faking do... somewhere deep down...

truely there are. dont cross the good ones and they are harmless.
but stay away from the bad ones, their bite is always worse then their bark.
