When you carried low early on in the pregnancy was it a boy or a girl?

I seem to be carrying low. I'm about 4 and a half months and have heard you can sometimes tell whether its a boy or girl by how high or low your carring.

no morning sickness. no other wait gain. its all in the front and so low it looks like i swallowed a ball.

with my first they said girls are carried high, but my ultasound showed a boy and i had a boy, so that tale was wrong

Well, it really doesn't matter. Every pregnancy is different. My daughter I carried low, my son high. I preg. with my 3rd and so far the pooch seems low. I'm hoping for another girl!

I remember a lady at church who carried high and it was a boy, but another lady who carried low and she had a boy too! LOL

Some people say that if your tummy sticks out like a basket ball it's a boy and if your tummy wraps around your waist it's a girl! I proved them wrong! Both my daughter and my son stuck out like a basket ball! LOL

I don't know about high or low. The baby always starts out low because your uterus is growing from the bottom up. From my experience I carried my boy like a basketball and my daughter like an inner tube. I am pregnant with another little girl and at 19 weeks I'm looking a little inner tubey. I am carrying "low" but my uterus isn't even as high as my belly button yet so there's no way to really carry high at this point. Good luck!! Everyone is different and with my 2 previous pregnancies everyone was guessing wrong.

I have 2 boys and a girl.... Each pregnancy was sooooo different from the others. My boys I carried one high and one low, but I also got a booty like no other when I was carrying boys. With my daughter she was all out in front in the middle and looked like a basketball under my shirt. You just won't know until D day!

I didnt carry high or low with either of my boys.. People kept saying "well I cant tell what your having because I cant tell if your carrying high or low" Neither of my boys dropped either. Thats an old wives tale just like the castor oil to induce labor and the whole if your babies heart rate is low its a boy and if its high its a girl.. Their fun though but not accurate at all.

Everyone will say if your high your going to have this and low this but it all depends on how much room you have for baby to grow. I am just shy of 5ft and i was all baby there was no high or low and i had 2 girls and a son. My sister in law is 5ft8 and she had both babies up high till the end. Just relax and unless you want to know what it is think of a little girl or little boy and imagine names and what they will look like. If you go by what people say of carrying the baby high or low you may be disapointed to. Relax enjoy and dream of a happy healthy baby....

i can't really remember how a carried as it was a while ago but i remember with my son i looked like i had a football up my jumper was very rounded
and with my daughters i seem to put lots of weight on all over carried alot at the front
plus i think you may be able to look at your morning sickness i had the worse sickness with my daughters and had nothing with my son


sounds like a boy congrats have you not had a scan to find out the sex?

It really doesnt matter, I carried low with both my son and daughter. It's more of a myth I'd say.. however I noticed that when its more all in the tummy area, its usually a boy and girls are wider and you gain more, EVERYWHERE.. but this also, is not always true.

I've been carrying low ever since my baby belly started showing, and the gender of my baby turned out to be male. If you're carrying on your hips, too, you might be having a boy. I guess it depends 'cause everyone's different.

Boys usually carry low, and girls usually carry around the sides, I hope this answer help even thought its really short XD

bunk!! i carried my first super high (always in my ribs) and my second so low that i was worried the baby would just fall out. Both were boys. Most carry their first baby high, and later children lower because your muscles have stretched that way before. you are close to being able to tell through ultrasound so don't worry so much about it.
