No. It explores scientific mysteries and myths in a new age and edgy sort of way. While the show uses scientific backings/methods/terms the writers dumb it down enough so that average joe can understand it. Besides, the blow tons of **** up every episode!

the show is not really nerdy.... i like the show but sometimes they test some retarded things.... but overall its a pretty cool show
