If you got a flat at 3 o'clock in the morning and she goes to pick you up. Even if you are in the whole other side of town of where she lives because you went out w/ the jerk she said was no good for you, but you decided she was just jealous of you an you told her to go to to hell! And she brings you a cup of coffee, and while she changes your flat she also listens to you while you tell her how this guy just left you stranded.

Friends are all I got in this life. My best friend is my soul mate!

You will feel it in your heart and you will know it in your mind! If there is any doubt in your heart or mind whatsoever, then there is something wrong.
Friendship is unconditional... both ways. I have recently written off all my fair-weather friends and I am now the happiest person alive!
True friends don't make you miserable, in stead, they support you when you are feeling miserable.
All friends have 'emergency buttons', 'ex-ray vision', 'supersonic hearing' and a '6th sense' (you know what i mean). I received a text message from a true friend earlier today without her telling me that she is a bit on a low, but I could sense it, so I immediately replied asking the necessary and then followed with what she needed to hear. It is just there!

A true friend may not be always there for you, may make mistakes, lie, do you wrong and loose touch... but a true friend is that person that for that special instant when you needed him/her was there, said and did the right things, was honest, did what was appropriate and got you through it.

I hope I get the chance to be in that instant with all my friends... the rest is being close so that you can be there when it comes.

A true friend has your back whenever you need them. A true friend is there for you through the good times as well as the bad times. A true friend loves and accepts you unconditionally. A true friend wants what's good for you at all times. A true friend puts their ego and feelings to the sided and understands when a friend has to do what they have to do for their own good. A true friend is honest with you even when you don't like or agree with what they are saying to you.

When they are there when you feel like crap. When they listen and they care. When they are there even if you don't give them much attention because of some reason. I've been blessed with many good friends since I came to this site. I hope that I'll keep them forever.

When....they accept you for you, faults and all, when they see you in the morning when you wake up and don't laugh, when they are there for you unconditionally, when they've got your back, when they know just how to put a smile on your face when you're unhappy or make you laugh when you need one....a true friend is someone that treats you just as you would treat them. I am totally there for all of my friends.

When they are there through thick and thin. Not just for the fun and good times, but also for the rough ones. Someone to just let you vent or cry or whatever you need to get through.

Someone like you sweet lady :)

When you need someone to emotionally lean on - for whatever reason - and that person is there with ears open and mouth closed to hear what is happening....and then provide equal amounts of empathy and ideas.
