# 2.
Because life is a blessing and too short to let all the little things get to us. Life is beautiful and everyday miracles surround us. When we see our kids faces, a full moon rising over the ocean etc....I appriciate stuff like this.

Simple question but its a complicated answer. As a child you can feel different but you won't be sure why. The only good part is your grades are good and the teacher loves you. Later you will be moved to the back of the class because you're the teachers pet, and the other kids are busy not caring about their grades throwing paper airplanes around calling you the nerd. You begin to feel disgusted even then. You want to fit in but at the same time you begin not to care. You are not a conformist and soon you are surrounded by aliens and misfits. At home if you are lucky, you will have smart supportive parents who can guide you and have high expectations of you and your future. Later in life you will have to navigate through stupidity, conformity, jealousy, and sometimes even malicious attacks against you for having the answers on your lips, or if you try to question or debate anything in a rational manner. You will never understand that people are emotional or irrational and lash out because it is not in your nature and they are threatened. Intelligent people will be different but in time they will learn that these qualities can be also be their successes. You will not be a conformist and will have to use these abilities to succeed, perhaps even become a leader meanwhile no one will understand how you got there. By then you can become bitter about the status-quo and that can build up over time. You have to survive with the world around you and you have to stay on the positive side of things but you will feel pulled down and weighted at times. I guess not everyone can deal with it. I am not claiming to be in the sad zone or ultra intelligent but if you are smart enough and intelligent enough you can use these emotions to benefit yourself. It's frustrating to think that the two go hand in hand, but I do believe its true.

Hi! Okay; well, first of all, let's remember that A.E. was recognized as a genius in his FIELD; which was Mathimatics; not philosiphy. If you stop and think about that statement; it makes no sense. Either way; if you adhere strictly; you've got trouble. (Nobody is ALL anything...). I'm like most, I think; some things amaze me, (and they are not always the positive things... doesn't it amaze most of us, listening to the news; the things people are capable of doing to one another? It sure does me...) Some things are everyday, nine to five, not so amazing; and some everyday things ARE amazing to me! Take television for example...(not the programing; the apparatus!) Wows me; I gotta tell ya! So, I guess I'm both. Or neither. It really isn't signifigant either way. And Einstein WAS a math genius; and HE amazed me! }:>

So, what did he know?
2. If you lived your life, as if nothing is 'a miracle' -- your non-plussed about everything from sunsets to births, to snowflakes to what happened to Carthage to how cable tv comes into your home (and appears on the tv) to paleontology to the curves on Shakira.. now, what kind of advice is that from Einstein (a man made 'goofy' by Marilyn Monroe)? Wasn't it a miracle now, that she gave that greyed old man some play?

Everything is a miracle. If you've ever walked children being born or surviving situtions that only a miracle could have taken place then you would know.

Aunt Bee, this is a tough one for me because I'm going through two different times in my life right now. I would have to choose number 2, because every day my elderly parents call me just to say they love me, it makes my day. I'm going to be a wreck when they pass away. Especially my father. I look in on them weekly and make sure they have food ( and they're eating it- they forget) and make sure they are taking their meds )they forget that too- and sometimes scare me to death if they've taken too much. (they're in their 80's) I feel so overwhelmed. But I'd say 2 because I can't be negative or I would be no use to my family.

...I would have to say 1. I'm not the most optimistic person.. I believe in thinking the worst is going to happen- that way when it does your not surprised or disappointed. lol I know it's not the best way to look at things but it works for me. And that way if something good happens it's a pleasant surprise! lol

Like most, I have good & bad days...there are days when I am a bit more pessimistic than usual but for the most part I live my life as if all is miraculous....Why? Because of My Love, Trust & Faith in God....& it's really that simple for Me.
