I love this movie. But do you think the movie is head on? How far fetched are the ideals expressed, and how similar are the y to the ones that we have right now?

For example, i'm a definite believe that the gov't uses the news to manipulate us. They twist stories and make claims abt the status of terrorism so it is convienent for them. What's your opinion?

Of course. If they didn't use the media, there wouldn't be press secretaries at the White House.

I think that the movie shows an exaggerated view of what is really there. All art has some sort of basis in reality.

Some of the ideas from the movie--I correct myself...*graphic novel*--hit very close to home: manipulating the media, using public fear to control the population, etc. These are standard tactics governments have used for a long time.

I do think the media does manipulate us into believing this war on Muslim terrorism is not real.

Just look at the polls of people think we should run away and hide thinking it will stop.
