I'm afraid you're going to be searching for a very long time... the closet thing you'll ever find are those weirdoes who pretend to be vampires, dressing in gothic clothes and drinking pre-ordered human blood (yuck!), thinking they have supernatural powers...
Is this really something you want to get into, honey?

Why on earth would you want to be a psychic vampire? That's another way of saying "soul-sucking parasite!" I knew a psychic vampire once and it was NOT a pleasant experience.
I was constantly tired, very cranky, extremely depressed and lonely, even in a crowd. I'm not sure if there's anything mystical about a psychic vampire or if it's a psychological reaction that people have, but some people can't create their own energy (for lack of a better term.) They latch on to someone who can make their own, someone full of life and happiness. Then, through constant physical and verbal contact, they wear that person down. That person becomes unable to cope and then starts leeching off someone else. It's a vicious circle. And the despair is overwhelming.
Maybe you have a different idea of what a psychic vampire is and if that's the case, I'm sorry for misunderstanding. From what I know of them, though, I'd rather have leeches stuck to my skin.

Psychic vampirism is hard to recognized. Some psychic vampires self-identify on the basis of how they feel; others rely on how they seem to affect people around them. But some psychic vampires hold that the only way to know if you are a psychic vampire is to be “recognized” by other, "experienced" psychic vampires who read your aura or "energy signature".
Here are some basic indicators to check if you are a psychic vampire (treat these as guidelines only).
feeling a strong sense of "drawing energy" in the presence of other people (which may be experienced as a sense of fullness, a sensation of pressure or inward "suction" in the solar plexus or above the bridge of the nose, a sense of sudden elation, euphoria, or increased vigor, or an odd optical illusion that the area around you has gotten a little brighter, as though someone just turned on an extra lamp somewhere);
feeling a sense of "energy overload" in which you easily "hit the wall" in social situations and need to withdraw and be alone; and lassitude, weakness and depression when you're cut off from your usual social interactions.
Some psychic vampires include emotional empathy ("feeling" other people's emotions and experiencing them) as a symptom, although non-vampires can be highly empathic. Effects on other people might include depression, fatigue, or loss of energy when people are around you, people sometimes avoiding you or withdrawing from you for no apparent reason, or people giving you harsh feedback about your alleged neediness, clingyness, intrusiveness or negativity.
However the feeding is performed, most psychic vampires report to get greatly invigorated physically and psychologically. Feeding can cause an amphetamine like rush.
Like blood vampires, psychic vampires feel that they must "feed" on the energy they require on a regular basis, and many report physical feelings of discomfort if they are denied access to a source. Symptoms of "energy deprivation" include extreme fatigue, depression, mood swings, immune system suppression with an increase in illnesses, uncontrollable "draining" of non-targeted sources, insomnia and anxiety, along with negative reactions from others close to the psychic vampire.
Psychic vampires often discuss methods of finding energy sources and "feeding" reliably and harmlessly, and these methods vary to a high degree. There are psychic vampires who "feed" during sex, those who "feed" on large crowds, those who draw energy from the natural world and visit parks or wilderness when "hungry", and those who "feed" by finding people in highly energized states and either calming or further provoking them.

I'd love to help but I haven't the faintest idea what a psychic vampire is. I am a bit psychic and I also like to bite, but I don't think that qualifies me, though I'm happy to learn more from you about this fascinating subject.

If you have ever been in the same room with someone and everything was fin, you felt great until you got there or they arrived then you have been in the prescience of a psychic vampire. Most aren't even aware that's what they are. They just do it and whine because they have no friends.

OK...so you "think" you want to play at being a psychic vampire? Here's the facts....
What you are proposing is the use of energies within yourself to draw energies from others.
This is BAD!!!! it leads to a VERY negative life for you and makes you a spiritually UGLY person. Or in other words...a succubus, which is a demonic creature.
You will never be able to have love in your life and you will destroy any creature, human or animal that you try to have any relationship with.
THAT...my dear, is your "IDEA" of FUN???
Go for it...if you want to spend your life as an uncaring, cold being because TRUST ME, you won't be "human" for very long and you will repell all who thought they once cared for you.
I can just see you on here in a year from now asking the stupid question in relationships " I don't understand why nobody likes me!!! (whine whine whine)"
You really must be hate filled to even consider it.
May the Gods have mercy on your doomed soul!!!

You are asking for a world of karmic hurt. Vampires who willingly do so are robbing from other people. Then one day, you will come across me, or someone like me. We will see you for what you are, and take the necessicary steps to see that you don't feed off of us. It will cause you much pain. If you are lucky, that's all that will happen. If you're not, and you come across someone who is vindictive, and they will hex you into spiritual oblivion. Which is also bad karma, but not as bad as sucking the life from others, knowlingly.

when I was a kid, I wanted to be one of Santa Clauses helpers. Then I found out he didnt exist. Just as someday you will stop believing in "psychic vampires" But hey, when you are young you can make believe anything you want. My 6 year old thinks he is a pirate.
So being the kind heart that I am...I will teach you how to become a psychic vampire in east steps.
Step 1:Start telling people you are a psychic vampire.
Step 2: Repeat step 1

i too am looking for a vampire. try reading the psychic vampire codex. it details everything you need to know. you can only become a psychic vampire by dying and coming alive again, (hard to explain) other ways too but i dont know them. you can just practice what they do and call yourself one. vampires are fun, i say you already have a life! or a death.
